ALSA, Software DECtalk and asoundrc.

Isn't dmix for oss? Am I wrong?

PS: I have the ability to play multiple sound objects at the same time,
but have not tried any of the soft speech recntly. I was having
dificulty with exactly this issue using Flite last summer with my
laptop.
