Hi Glen, I don't believe that's the case all the time...RW's allow you to make full use of your 700 mb: I of course don't know what package you were using, or what hardware there of... But with CDR/W disks, you can erase, but you don't get the space back, i.e., you cannot write over the data that has been erased, which seems little better than usless in most instances.
