ot: brltty cursor bouncing

Hi all.  I finally found the pattern of this occurrence.  Seems as if when 
I'm in pine, reading along, and the new mail pops up at the bottom of the 
screen, the cursor jumps back to the screen top.  Is there some option I 
should change, if any??
