The last time I looked at the ntfs writing support for the kernel last week, The help said it was dangerous and a high potential to corrupt files. It also mentioned having to be sure and flush out the cache for it when shutting down the system and upon boot up, having to do something else I can't remember now. It sounded too complicated for me at the time. What I'm gonna do as soon as I put win2000 on my current dos/windows partition, I'll let it go up as NTFS but leave the other hard drive as VFAT and that way I still have an area that is common to both OS's with read and write capability. I have NTFS read enabled in the kernel for when I do this project. > -- > Raul A.
