Hi everybody: Cut and paste is finally fixed and once again working in the 2.6.xx kernel tree. The problem was that in the new console code they handle all of the keyboard functions in the actual interrupt which caused OOPS when the race condition locking code was called to tighten up the kernel. After discussion on the reflector with a number of good suggestions being proposed I decided to handle the cut and paste functionality ourselves which makes for tighter cleaner code.
