Hi all. Does anyone know if there are any cddb client-like programs for
Linux? Bc what I originally wanted to do was rip all the tracks from
cdparanoia, then I would write a bash script that would re-name the
files to Artist - Title.wav. Then I would encode everything using
oggenc. I tried mp3c, and got track names from my Cds. However, when it
rips files it outputs the wav to /tmp/randomcharacters.wav. And I didn't
find anywhere where I could specify an alternate encoder to be executed
in the options menu, because I am not encoding in mp3 only to decode and
re-encode in Vorbis. That would introduce too much loss of quality in my
opinion. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
