Hi. let's hope that the folks down in Redmond don't decide to change the protocol for MSN. Right now, I believe they use a combination of SIP/their own protocol which is text-based. I've actually looked at some of the packets coming down the wire here and don't see any MD5 or any other encryption used. So for now everything is smooth saling as far as MSN goes. Some of the metadata that's encapsulated within the SIP/MSN (SIP used only for P2p communication) is the version of the client running on the local host. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Igor Gueths" <igueths@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Sunday, March 28, 2004 11:13 AM Subject: Re: Wine > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Well for that I believe naim will support MSN and I know for a fact > Centericq does. > On Sun, Mar 28, 2004 at 12:49:29AM -0500, Christopher Toth wrote: > > There isn't, only: Windows i386 - 32bit. > > And ventrilo's not all I'm talking about.
