linux and pdf?

Hi Karen:

We have pdftotext on Shellworld. From the shell prompt, just type:

pdftotext <filename>

Sometimes I use pdftotext -layout to try to preserve formatting, but that
hasn't worked well for me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
