off-topic: Telling chips apart?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

you can tell a cpu from an eprom
because,
well the cpu looks somewhat like a sim card on a movile phone in as much
as it has a corner cut off just like the afforementioned sim card.
an eprom or eeprom has a window right in the hi diddle diddle of the
chip where you can use a prom burner to encode the thing.
hth.
