-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Well, I did it last weekend on my main dual boot machine with sound card and CD burner. After a few little hoops to jump through, all seems to be working fine. I had to install mod-init as my previous modutils did not meet the test. The kernel Changes told me so also. I updated cdrdao to 1.1.9 from slackware-current in order to take advantage of IDE support in cdrdao. I also got module-init-tools 3.0 from slackware-current. I don't recall if module-init-tools was in Slackware before but this package apparently includes the mod-tools needed for 2.4 kernels and also the module-init stuff necessary for 2.6 kernels both. Any way, I'd go for it. 2.6 kernel looks good to me. On Thu, Jun 17, 2004 at 12:59:12PM -0500, Gregory Nowak wrote: > Hi all. > > I've asked this a while back.
