Hi,

     All the telnet connection from your box does is to tell the far end 
who to run the test on.  Unless you were running identd, I do, but most 
people don't, the far end would have no way of knowing what user you were 
when you established the connection.  The only requirement is that you 
telnet from the box that you want tested.
