I just installed the DECtalk speech deal from fonix and the say command works fine now. Now, I want to see what it would take to write middle ware to enable speakup to work with it. What would be require here? Also, where are any additional docs for the fonix synth? I'm also thinking about getting EmacSpeak to work with it and also I would like to override those built-in abreviations. I don't wnat st to always be spoken as street!!!
