This is the first I have heard of either of these behaviours. How is the blazers handshaking set? How is it's speech box mode set? Has anyone seen this behaviour on the BNS or is it a Blazer specific situation? You can always change caps_start and cap_stop to behave the way you want it to. Have it say "cap" for instance or "upper" or fiddle with the pitch settings to get it right for you.
