resend of patches to 2.6

Hi all.
This is a resend of the patch for 2.6 kernels, diffed against 2.6.3.
IT worked with the command:
patch Makefile.orig Makefile.dif
This makes input devices load earlier, thus making it possible to shut the
synth up much earlier.
