Hi, It actually transfers all the data before it sends the command to update the rom. Another words, it gets it all in ram and then flashes it. You don't really risk the dectalk, if it doesn't transfer, it doesn't flash. Speaking of which, what kind of chip contains the firmware? Is it an EEPROM/Eprom? In case something does happen to it, can I rewrite the firmware?
