perhaps this is the case. I have though used several ported applications such as pine and another version of lynx for windows and they work well. They do work as console applications, but are usable. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sergey Fleytin" <fleytin@xxxxxxx> To: "Sean McMahon" <smcmahon at usgs.gov>; "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2004 5:22 AM Subject: Re: newest lynx for windows: Hi, all! >>>>> "SM" == Sean McMahon <smcmahon at usgs.gov> writes: SM> I'd see what's in cygwin. an off topic comment here, if someone SM> knows how to fillout a bug report for cygwin tell them to fix SM> their installer. I don't think that it is a bug, since, as far as i know, Jaws can work correctly only with applications that use standart win32 api. I tried with jaws several applications that originally came from the unix world (including Open office), but with no success. Therefore i think that it is Freedom Scientific, not Cygwin, to whom a bug report should be addressed. Sorry for the off topic posting. With best wishes, Sergey. _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup at braille.uwo.ca http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
