Nick, What part of the HOWTO don't you understand? Download the iso images. You need four to install. That's all you need. You burn with the feature in your software that creates a file structure from an iso file--whatever your software calls that. Do not download individual files (other than the four iso images--they're superfluous at best and will trip you up at worst.) Do not copy the iso file to your cd rom media. Now, if you think the HOWTO is insufficiently clear, please suggest how to clarify. W. Particularly, the first disc, should it be specifically an "iso boot disc" then what? A "logical disc > partition? A discette image"? I think this is the heart of my problem, the discs seem OK as I can see the files as "all" but the first one won't boot, although the > boot images do, but they say, Linux 2.6 something. > > Nick > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup -- Janina Sajka, Chair Accessibility Workgroup Free Standards Group (FSG) janina at freestandards.org Phone: +1 202.494.7040
