I haven't really gotten started installing any of this new speech
stuff yet but it sounds quite fascenating and has been long awaited by
many - Speakup with software speech. I've been saving many
informative e-mails on this subject so perhaps I can take on the task
of installing and running this stuff and build some concise
documentation to specifically address getting Speakup to work with the
Speech dispatcher. Thanks, Amere for the startup script; that should
come in handy when I get there. It also helps lay down some
groundwork necessary to get it all running.
