Shutting down Linux

Do you happen to have a doubletalk LT? If so, I figured out why the system 
reboots instead of powering off. Some other synths may also cause the 
behavior, but I'm not sure. I know DECTalk Express doesn't, nor does the 
Melenium series of the Braille Lite.
