While we're at it, let's go sue GW-Micro and Freedom Scientific, for making us pay big bucks for their offerings, and not putting them under the GPL like Kirk did with speakup. My point is that unfortunately, like it or not, proprietary code has many proponents, and is at least for now here to stay. Have you also considered the fact that Freedombox would have been perfectly justified in ignoring the GNU/Linux blind community, and just had a version of their software for windows, like many, many other companies?
