The price tag on the pac mate is why, I believe, that so many think it would be nice to have something like SpeakUp running on an off the shelf P D A. Me included. They have removed the screen completely, and packaged the whole thing inside a plastic case with qwerty keyboard. The case also takes a braille display. Jaws has been modified specially for the IPAQ to get around the lack of keyboard shotcuts on PocketPC. The product is called a Pacmate I think. It's pricy mind you: ?1,700 basic, ?2,800 with Braille display.
