Hey all. Does anyone know why speakup_rate, speakup_pitch, and speakup_vol don't seem to take effect? Putting commands in .bash_profile doesn't work when logging in, though they do work when rerunning the profile manually. Putting the parameters in the append= line of lilo doesn't work either.
