Upgrading debian 2.2

I grabbed this file through ssh, but correct me if I'm wrong, this is very
very wrong, and the sighted person who did this didn't set it up right.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you should post your
/etc/apt/sources.list so we can see whether you've set up your mirrors
correctly.

Also, have you looked for the upgrading information in the manual for your
architecture at www.debian.org/
