Hi No, I'm sure I've got ALSA. I used amixer first to change the mixer settings. What I meant was that even aumix, the OSS mixer, sees the changes but it doesn't play anything. There's no errors, just silence. Even if I did have OSS, the SB live is supported by them so I'd get at least some sound.
