Actually the mac address is in the modem so it shouldn't be the card and they wouldn't knwo anything about my hardware as this is new service. I previously had dsl with a static ip so dhcp is new to me as far as using it, but I do understand teh concept, but there's more stuff to check out yet. Thanks for the info and hope soon to be online.
