Subject: OT: Swap File Sizes

A question:

On a 256 MB RAM, multi service, heavy use, machine, which of the following
makes the most sense, assuming unlimited hd space?:

(1) a single 256 MB swap partition;
(2)double 256 MB swap partitions;
(3) A single 512 MB swap partition;
(4) No swap partitions;
(5) more space (either a third 256 MB, or a single 768 MB partition); or
(6) Something else?

Thanks

Luke
