Krister, To clarify my earlier reply: Pop3, pop3s, imap and imaps "daemons" are all included with Redhat 9. For web email, squirrelmail is included with Redhat 9. I have not set this up, but it is way down there, somewhere, on my todo list. Krister, I found postfix to be relatively easy to set up, even though I had never setup a mail server before. It comes with Redhat 9. It is supposed to be easier to setup and more secure than sendmail. Pop3, pop3s, imap and imaps are all included with Redhat 9, also. You can find more info about postfix at www.postfix.org Redhat has an older howto at http://www.redhat.com/support/resources/howto/RH-postfix-HOWTO/book1.html -----Original Message----- From: speakup-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-admin at braille.uwo.ca] On Behalf Of Krister Ekstrom Sent: Saturday, October 25, 2003 6:27 AM To: speakup Subject: Mail server solutions for RedHat? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 Hi speakup, I just wonder if there's a mail server solution for Red Hat? Yes i know there's Sendmail, but is there another one that's easy to configure? (Someone said Sendmail was somewhat hard to configure.) Also i wonder if there's a mail server with Pop3, Imap, (not necessary) and webmail options?
