Mailman Is Driving Me Crazy

Hi Reg: I am not sure what to recommend. It depends somewhat on
which flavour of debian you are using woody, sarge or sid. Mailman
installs slightly differently between woody and sid. In sid you need
to have a mailman mailing list where you don't in earlier versions I
don't think. In woody there is a flag you can give the newlist
command to add the alias stuff directly to the /etc/aliases file. In
sid you have to add the information by hand, that's where the speakup
cut and paste feature comes in handy. You should not have to do
anything to exim if you are going to use the /etc/aliases method of
setting up a mailing list. So check those things and offer more info
if that doesn't help. It really isn't very difficult to get running.
