Hi Jacob,
Redhat is also incorperating redhat interprise Linux in to their line of retail products. Which aparently from this message, they
will put a price stamp on the product and won't make it available for download, accept maybe as a trial version. Hope this
helps...Jes.

Hi
Well, I'm no RH insider, so a few details may have escaped me. But essentially this means that the product named Red Hat Linux
will be discontinued as
the message states. Red Hat Linux is now Red Hat Fedora Core, which is due for official release later this month, starting at
version 1.0. Fedora core is now
a project, not a product. The project has a more open development model, where many more people can contribute to it. However,
this does mean that it is
no longer a retail product like red hat linux was, but it is still essentially the same system. For more info, visit:

P.S. If anyone's installed fedora core, please write me, I got it installed but am having some major issues in the areas of bootup
and networking. Not sure
whether this latest beta is broken or if I screwed something up during installation, since kickstart doesn't seem to work exactly
the same.
