Hi Well, yes it actually does need eci.ini. Use the inigen program provided in viavoice's bin directory. To use it, type something like: inigen /usr/lib/enu50.so eci.ini Note that viavoice is quite buggy at best, even when not using the alsa drivers. It seems to crash every 10 minutes or so.
