More on: Compiling a kernel for festival support

Hi Kirk,

OK--I've tried it with both CVS and stable 1.00 on kernel 2.4.19. Here's what I've done:

1. Unpacked the kernel;
2. Installed Speakup;
3. Copied the usr/src/linux/* from the speakup-festival tarball into the linux-2.4.19 kernel tree;
4. Copied the stuff from the speakup directory of the speakup-festival tarball into linux-2.4.19/drivers/char/speakup
5. Kernel build with the errors I posted earlier...
And in that order.

Did I miss something, do you think?
