I would like to update my main computer running Red Hat 7.3 to the 8.0 version that includes the speakup setup and configuration during installation. I am currently running emacspeak on this system as I share it with other family and they use KDE. I run speakup on an older dedicated speach machine, also running 7.3. What I need to know is if I install speakup on the family machine, is there a problem when the others run KDE? Must I have duel boot kernels? Thanks in advance.
