Hi Shane: First, good luck selling your synthesizer. Regardless the asking price, they are sometimes a difficult sell for the most part especially in the cases where people who use only windows generally preferring to use software speech with a few exceptions. The reason I replied Shane is to correct something in your message which is below. The Artic Transport model 615 does indeed emmulate an Accent. Note however that the emmulation is strictly on a software level. So, while it will emulate a software synth under something like jfw and possibly other screen readers in the windows world, the transport in no ways emmulates an accent under linux when running speakup. The two don't sound the same, nor do they perform the same. The transport will however work with speakup using the txprtn synth key word in the append line of: /etc/lilo.conf. If you want more info feel free to email me direct or give me a call. At home you can get me at: 709-596-3165. Work: 709-722-4031. Cell: 709-683-6085. Cheers and again good luck selling the synthesizer from someone who has 3 accents and two transports at the moment.
