Hello, I think you can install over a serial line with most distros. I was trying this with slackware 8.1 which was the current version at the time but since I didnt have a nullmodem cable it failed. what you do and someone correct me if i'm wrong is pass the param console=ttyS0 or something like that on the kernel commandline. It's been a while since I did this so I forget the details.
