Maybe this has been going on for months; I haven't tried to join a group at Yahoo for a while; I'd avoid them completely if i could. However, there was a group I really wanted to join and just tried to do so. they now have a word that you have to copy into a box to verify your registration for a group and they have a place you are supposed to "click" if you are visually impaired to get a customer care person to "help" you. I clicked this in lynx and got 'unsupported url scheme!" (now why should that surprise me?!) I did the same in links and was given an url--not a link mind you but an url--that I'm supposed to paste into my browser to request help. and I'm supposed to provide my phone number as well as my email address in order to get this "help". can they really legally make me jump through these hoops? Has anybody found a way around this or gone through their little process; if so, did you really get help? I resent being asked to give out my phone number just because I'm blind!!! Thanks. -- Cheryl
