I had been asking about Freeamp, but then I recalled that zinf is actually better or so I was told. I had tried it, but for some reason at the time I installed it as a Debian package and it completely trashed my alsa drivers. So I'm curious has anyone had this experience, is Zinf as good as or better than Freeamp, and does it have as nice an interface as Freeamp? I'm a little hessitant to install Zinf if it'll hose Also again. I couldn't figure out what it had done, but not interested in having that experience again. tia Scott
