Whenever I try to modprobe snd-seq-oss,
I get the following errors.

however, when I look at the offending line in
/usr/src/alsa-driver-0.9.0rc6/alsa-kernel/core/seq/oss/seq_oss.c, I see
the code that prints the error message can't register device seq.
line 223 of the affore mentioned file states thus,
snd_printk(KERN_ERR "can't register device seq\n");
any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using the SB_Live with alsa-0.9.0rc6
