No, it's probably ntfs. Booting from floppy gives you full access. It just 
doesn't guarantee you can read the hd. After all, once it's configured 
with ext3 (or ext2, whatever it is that Woddy does), you wouldn't be able 
to read it from a DOS floppy boot, either. Same reason, different file 
system.
