Speak up and keyboard issues

Hello all,
Firstly, I have noticed that speak up reads by line and by sentence
simultainiously. Is there a way of getting it to just read by sentence?
Also when reading the man pages it reads the first screen perfectly but when
I use the arrow keys to go down the page after that it speaks SS before
every line. Is there a way of stopping this? Also, I plan to to download
the key map for JAWS but I would like to change a few ordinary typing keys
to match the Irish keyboard layout. Can any one give me instructions for
doing this? The two keys that I would like to change for the moment are the
back slash key and the number key the at key and the quote key. Its not
completely necessary but it would make things slightly easier.

Lastly, I have being using Pico to edit text, unfortunately though I have to
use the speak up reading keys to read text, this makes it very difficult to
incert text into a file. Am I using the rong text editor or is there
something that I can do to Speak up to get it to read?

Thanks

Darragh
P.S. where can I find a list of speak up specific keyboard commands?
