Probably because he's sending both html and plain text copies of his
messages, at least, that's what Pine reports.  I don't have to decode
anything, but it is annoying to have to skip past the rports of the
attachments, and then there's the bandwidth, I mean, I wonder how much
bandwidth is wasted in this manner, just think how much less costly all
our internet access could be, if...
