Yes, it does. Pine by default uses pico as its editor. What I'm not too sure of right now is what options pine has for word wrapping. I'm pretty sure you can specify the column at which the wrapping should take place. I'm not running pine at the moment so can't look for the specific options for you. In pine, open the settings menu by hitting 's' from the main menu and 'c' under that takes you into configuration. In there is a *LONG* list of various options you can set. It is probably one of the most user-friendly configuration systems in the unix world of things. In particular look through the composer options; there should be something in there. If I got the order of key strokes wrong above, then sorry for the goof. I hapen to be using mutt now for my mail because I like some of its other features but configuring it is quite a bit tuffer at start; it's another one of those configuration files I don't think you would like:) On Wed, Jun 12, 2002 at 07:44:08AM +0300, Octavian Rasnita wrote: > Hi all, > > I've seen some messages on another list telling that the line is too long in > a message. > The guy is using pine. > Doesn't pine wrap the lines that are longer than the screen width? > > Thanks. > > Teddy, > orasnita at home.ro > > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
