Consensus opinion required - was 'more worms'

ok, if the windows users aren't computer savy enough or care enough to
reduce the risk of virus infection to their machines, I don't consider
that good practice.
even though I use windows as little as possible these days, I still
protect myself against idiots that want to code stupid worms.
It's just using your brains.
