Steve. I use qpopper as the pop daemon on the system. I've also done some fancy playing around and setup smtp so that if you authenticate with qpopper successfully there is a 15 minute window that you can use my server as smtp as well. So if you use the web mail page it authenticates itself for smtp. The webmail program mailreader is very speech friendly to windows users with internet explorer as well as lynx users from dos or lynux.
