Quick question. What are the settings on the Braille Lite? Press chord+dots 3 and 4 and look through the status menu. The reason I ask is that newer Blazie products can use Windisk. Windisk requires 38400 for the baud, but Speakup is hard-coded to use 9600. You must have it set to 9600, 8data bits, 1 stop bit, and software handshaking to work in Speakup. Hope this helps.
