Just a not here. I have a friend who graduated from school who graduated last year and took a job with L and H. He is working with a team that is working on porting Kurtzweil scanning and reading products to Linux. So, don't bash them just yet. I haven't talked to him since he took the job, so I don't know the status of the project, but perhaps something good will come of it eventually. 73, Chris Peterson, KG0BP ----- Original Message ----- From: "Georgina" <gena@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2002 1:57 PM Subject: Re: New and in need of help. > Hi > > No thanks, I got a lovely set up here of the Epson 1240 and K1000 6.02 > with Dectalk.
