Hi, list. I am working on trying to make a speakup version of Mandrake 8.1 for general distribution. I just downloaded speakup 1.0.0 from the net, patched it into the 2.4.8 kernel, ran cvs checkout, and then ran make config. I went through the entire configuration, and was not prompted for speakup support. Is something wrong or is it built in audomatically now? If something went wrong with the make config how do I add it to config so that it will build?
