Tracking the Cursor in PuTTY (fwd)

hi all this a user on my system and she has a problem that I cant answer.

Hey there, Maurice,

Wow, do you have trouble tracking the cursor in PuTTY?? JFW can't seem to
locate it very well, and so doesn't track, for typing or for editing, or
whatever. I've tried changing the cursor shape to Horizontal, Vertical,
etc., and set it for all kinds of things, trying to get it to track. If
there is any way you can possibly help, this seems like a fairly high
priority issue, since it would be handy to be able to track the cursor,
especially for Internet Relay Chat.

Thanks tons for any kind of advice you may give me whatsoever!

Have a good night,

Tina Ektermanis
