I hardly ever install anything new on windows anymore, and almost never use the net from windows. In fact, all I do tend to do is audio. So I've no real need for one. but if I did have one, I'd probably go for fprot, which I believe is free and, last I checked, was reputed to be in the top few. Buggered if I'm going to pay for one.
