Setting up a cvs repository is going to require you to read lots of
docs. My suggestion is you get started. You can read about cvs most
likely on your system in /usr/share/doc/cvs/ On my Debian system there is
a nice long html manual that goes through everything step by step. I
think once you begin reading you will figure out if you have the server
binary or not.
