Hi,

Ok, if anyone has any ideas I'm willing to try it.
I can get mail out using pine and here is the header info.
Return-Path: <jr at charter.net>
Received: from [24.240.195.106] (HELO [192.168.1.101])
by dc-mx01.cluster1.charter.net (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 3.4.6)
  with ESMTP id 27610771 for beanpole at charter.net; Thu, 20 Sep 2001 07:38:26 -0400
Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2001 06:25:42 -0500 (CDT)
From: Jim Ruby <jr@xxxxxxxxxxx>
X-X-Sender: <jr at localhost.localdomain>
To: <beanpole at charter.net>
Subject: test pine
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.4.33.0109200623060.1712-100000 at localhost.localdomain>

I need the return address to be jruby at charter.net not jr

I tried mutt, but its email was not sent, and will look in to that one further. If I can get one email client working then I can move on to trying different mail programs until I like one or just be happy one works if this can
even be done.

Thanks for everyones help so far.
